The Women’s Institute - A Modern Voice for Women
The WI offers women the opportunity of sharing friendship and learning, to help widen their horizons, and together to influence local, national and international affairs.
Churt WI
Our meetings are on the second Tuesday of each month at 2.30pm in Churt Village Hall. Do come and join us! Visitors are very welcome.
Founded in 1919, Churt WI is one of the oldest in the county. In 2009 we celebrated our 90th birthday.

In addition to our monthly meetings we also offer other social events and outings, and on a sunny summer’s evening we learnt about ‘Tai Chi’ on Stony Jump.
We are also involved in many village activities, and our most popular contribution is providing the teas at the annual Village Fete.
We meet on the fourth Tuesday of the month, at 10am on the Church Green, for a morning's walk of about 2 hours. Well behaved WI dogs are welcome!
