Geography
From Farnham the A31 runs to Alton and Guildford whilst the A325 runs past Farnborough and links to the M3.
The nearest railway stations are at Haslemere and Farnham both directly linked to London Waterloo.
A local bus service runs through the heart of the village.
Churt is surrounded by picturesque Surrey and Hampshire villages including Elstead, Tilford, Frensham, Thursley and Grayshot, all with their own attractions, including a pottery, horse riding, local crafts and antique shops.
There are three Public houses within Churt Parish, The Crossways in the centre of the village and the Pride of The Valley on the Tilford side of the village and Frensham Pond Hotel, these last two being residential. There are also B & B's which can cater for visitors.
Churt is in the heart of the countryside however there are some 600 properties of all types from modern Tudor and neo Georgian style houses near the centre of the village to large country properties hidden away in their own land.
There are beautiful areas of common land where walking is encouraged. Views from the top of the nearby Devil's Punchbowl are breathtaking and the Bowl itself provides walks for all fitness levels.
There are at least four golf courses within easy reach at Hindhead, The Sands, Hankley and Blacknest.
Sports Centres are at Haslemere, Farnham and Guildford.
Spa breaks are available at Grayshott and Liss. Fishing and sailing can be arranged locally.
Self catering and B & B accomodation is also available locally
