Making a Difference at West Surrey
- The Head at a local school has written to Chief Constable Mark Rowley praising the local Neighbourhood Specialist Officer: "Over the past few years we have enjoyed a very good relationship with police and much of this is down to the help, support, advice and attitude of the PC. He has established very good and trusting relationships with my staff and in working with students he has been a consistent model of professionalism: caring and supportive, yet firm in what is right. I thought you should be aware of how much we have valued the contribution to our community."
- A Neighbourhood Inspector has received an email from a Village resident praising the local Neighbourhood Specialist Officer and PCSO following their efforts in dealing with disruptive behaviour by children in the area: "Your door-drop letters were timely and effective without putting anyone who had complained at further risk of being targeted. Within a week of my desperate call to police, your letters came out and have made an immediate and notable difference to the bad behaviour
- A Safer Neighbourhood Sergeant and her team have been thanked by a resident for their assistance with a long running and emotive parking issue: "Thank you so much for your time and help, I know that I speak for all of us when I say that you have been the only people to properly listen and move forward with this issue. We are all extremely pleased with the outcome and hope that the situation is now closed. Once again many thanks, you have, and are doing, a great job!"
