Churt Local News (From the last four weeks)
News beginning week of Sunday 16th November
The WI is fit and well! You will all be pleased to know that new members for the ChurtWI committee have been found and it will therefore not be subject to closure. There are many members and as Churt WI is one of the oldest in existence it would have been sad to have lost it. It is a valued part of our village and we are grateful to the new committee for stepping up and to the past committee for all your hard work. All of our Village clubs and Societies need committee members to keep them running and many of them need new 'young' blood. If you are interested in playing a part then please don't be afraid to ask!

The Irish Themed Quiz Night at the Village Hall was a roaring success with the top three tables having a closely fought battle but at the end of the day The Tennis Club were the well deserved winners. Around £1000 was made for the Village Hall Fund and our thanks must go to all the organisers and helpers on the night. Well done.
